Payment is due at time of service. As a courtesy to our patients we have enrolled in several managed care programs. In doing this we agree to file your insurance claims and take the contracted rates from your insurance company, however, we do not take responsibility for items that are not covered by your individual plan. We recommend that you always question the insurance company regarding your benefits and do not assume that everything done in the physician’s office is covered. Bee Caves Pediatrics, P.A. will NOT file any claims for patients without an insurance card. You can request your insurance company to fax or provide you with documentation of insurance coverage that includes all billing information. You will need to provide this information every time you change insurance companies, as we will not be responsible for any denied claims due to filing deadlines if information was not given at the time of service. It is advised that all patients verify (if not already known) that we are network providers and which lab your insurance company is contracted with. Bee Caves Pediatrics, P.A. can no longer be involved in payment disputes between parents. The person who brings the child to the office will be expected to pay at the time of service and retrieve any payment from the responsible party. For questions or concerns regarding your account or insurance concerns contact Erin Chambers billing@beecavespediatrics.com . Services In addition to routine medical care, Bee Caves Pediatrics, P.A. offers the following:
Births Dr. Hudson and Dr. Ruiz no longer attend deliveries. Should complications arise, the neonatologist on call at the hospital of your choice will attend your delivery. These physicians are on staff at the hospitals and are instantly available for emergency deliveries as well as discharge from the hospital. This eliminates your wait time to be discharged. Upon arrival to the hospital please notify them of your pediatrician’s name and office. Normally, upon birth, newborns have an antibiotic ointment applied to their eyes to treat any possible contamination of the newborn’s eyes during birth, an injection of Vitamin K to bolster the baby’s blood clotting time, and medication is applied to the umbilical cord to facilitate drying. We also recommend having the initial Hepatitis B vaccination done at the hospital.
